It’s the start of week 3 of Michelle Bridges’ 12 Week Body Transformation and I’m still motivated! Ok, so today I am a little less motivated due to a wakeful baby last night.
BUT THAT’S OK!! I have been finding all kinds of interesting ways to get my exercise in when the kids are being a bit difficult. Children in slings and walking packs are great ways to make a little bit of exercise way more intense!!! Try doing squats or lunges with 12kg on your back or in your arms!
Other than that, my “Village livin’ housework” this week has been pretty good exercise. I collected a tonne of wood. Stacked it and then had to move some of it around to the other side of the house (so it is easy to take inside to the fire). That is pretty hard work!! Perhaps, as well a the lack of access to fast food, this is a hidden benefit to living in the country when trying to drop a few kg’s!
Weigh-in last Wednesday was a bit uneventful-100g down and I am COMPLETELY blaming it on my period. I hope that was it. Or increased muscle mass? I didn’t let it get me down or use it as an excuse to give-up. It got me even more fired up, in fact!!
So, still going strong, still loving the food, and still loving the way regular exercise makes you feel!
